Activity:
Gather up all the Valentine Cards in the class.
As a group, look at the number of cards gathered.
Discuss numbers and estimating.
Students estimate the total number of Valentine Cards.
Students write down their guesses on pieces of paper.
Students' estimates are collected and put into a jar or box.
Cards are counted.
Whose guess was the closest?
