Flying Birds of Antarctica
Listen to this song.
This song, with printable lyrics and chords, is available on "Antarctica."
The flying birds of Antarctica
Spread their feathered wings
Over the ocean and snowy land
Gliding on icy winds
The giant petrel has a tubular nose
With a good sense of smell
It eats krill, fish and penguin chicks
Dead whales and seals as well
An aggressive predator is the skua
It’s diet is mostly the same
But it winter’s in the north pacific
And in the spring returns again.
The flying birds of Antarctica
Spread their feathered wings
Over the ocean and snowy land
Gliding on icy winds
The blue eyed shag is a cormorant, they nest on rocky cliffs
Close to the sea is where they like to live, they eat krill and squid and fish
Another bird that winters away from home
And returns in early spring
Is the black headed gull…..
…..
The sheathbill, it lives on the land…..
…..
The flying birds of Antarctica
Spread their feathered wings
Over the ocean and snowy land
Gliding on icy winds
This song, with printable lyrics and chords, is available on "Antarctica."
