     Gary Rosen's latest release, “Gary Rosen Sings A. A. Milne” features The Hums of Pooh like “Poor Little Tigger” and “The More It Snows.” This collection of 18 songs was composed by A. A. Milne’s contemporary, Harold Fraser-Simson and includes songs about the familiar characters found in Christopher Robin’s Hundred Acre Wood.
     As in Gary’s other award-winning CDs, this recording features songs that are upbeat, and memorable for both adults and children. This CD also includes four classic songs like “Discover the Pole,” sung by Gary's children, Lela, Penn and Eliza Rosen.
     For us fans of Gary Rosen, this recording is a miracle facilitated by technology. Shortly after being diagnosed with ALS (or Lou Gehrig's disease), Gary had to stop performing. But he found previously unreleased songs recorded in 2001, and in the studio he combined these with his children's live performances. It's a joy to hear Gary's voice combined with those of his talented children!
