     ¡Viva La Musica! is a fall 2002 Parents' Choice Approved Award Winner. Elise Sumner's 61-page lyric book has the Spanish lyrics alongside the English translations for all 28 songs. This CD is appropriate for elementary students, the first three years of high school and the first year and a half of college study. Teacher notes in the book indicate the grammar points and verb tenses for each song.

4. Los Números — Numbers (numbers 1-20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, 100)
5. Un Café — A Cup Of Coffee (vocabulary for ordering from a menu; present tense, commands)
6. ¿Dónde Esta Ese Lugar? — Where Is That Place? (directions; present tense)
7. En La Tienda — In The Store (store vocabulary, present tense)
8. Oh, Doctor Y Enfermera — Oh, Doctor And Nurse (vocab. for a doctor's office, present tense)
9. Necesito Una Habitación — I Need a Room (vocabulary for a hotel, present tense, 2 commands)
10. Quiero Hacer Un Viaje — I Want To Take A Trip (vocabulary for travelling, present tense)
     Note: Songs 1-10 use Ud. rather than tú
11. Hola. ¿Qué Tal? — Hi. How Are You? (greetings,present tense-tú form)
12. En La Playa — On The Beach (beach vocabulary, present tense, weather)
13. Mi Familia — My Family (family members, present tense)
14. Estoy Enamorado De Ti — I'm In Love With You (estar-present tense-feeling, location)
15. ¡Vaya! ¡Vaya! Voy A La Playa — I'm Going To The Beach (weather, ir, present tense)
16. El Chico De Puerto Rico — The Guy From Puerto Rico (ser and estar, present tense)
17. ¿Siempre La Misma? — Always The Same? (daily routine; reflexive verbs, present tense)
18. Trata De Ser Optimista — Try To Be Optimistic (negative words, present tense, five commands-tú)
19. Nos Gustan Distintas Cosas — We Like Different Things (gustar, present tense)
20. Vengan Ustedes — Come (commands-ustedes)
21. ¡Cuidado, Don Quijote! — Careful, Don Quixote! (preterite tense, one imperfect)
22. ¡Qué Alegría! — What Joy! (preterite tense)
23. Locos Por Amor — Crazy Because Of Love (position of object and reflexive pronouns)
24. Cuando Yo Era Niña — When I Was A Child (imperfect tense)
25. Pobrecito Joselito — Poor Joey (preterite interrupts imperfect)
26. Pepito — Pepito (commands-tú)
27. No Me Molesten — Don't Bother Me (present subjunctive and present indicative, one command)
28. Quisiera Volver a Mi Patria — I Would Like To Return To My Homeland (imperfect subjunctive)
