Activities: Enlarge the animal patterns in this book. Cut them out of the appropriate color of construction paper for the words used in this song. Write the color word on each animal, then attach to sticks. Pass these puppets to the children to hold up as their animal is sung. Let the children make their own stick puppets to go along with the song. Made additional verses for other color words: donkey gray; flamingo pink; sheep- white; goat tan, etc.
