Identify the feelings we feel when we celebrate a birthday. You can also discuss how we measure time, and how long a year is in months, days, hours, and minutes. Ask, “How do you think your parents feel when you have a birthday? How do your friends feel? How do you feel? Why?”
The baby just turned one
Just turned one, just turned one
The baby just turned one
Oh how fun!
Happy Birthday baby mine
Baby mine, baby mine
Happy Birthday baby mine
Now you’re one!
The baby just turned two…
Oh ya-hoo!
Happy Birthday baby mine…
Now you’re two!
Happy Birthday baby mine
Baby mine, baby mine
Happy Birthday baby mine
Now you’re one!
But the baby’s not a baby anymore, anymore
The baby’s not a baby anymore
Oh the years they come and go
But the baby’s gotta grow
Oh the baby’s not a baby anymore
The baby just turned three…
Oh yipee!
Happy Birthday baby mine…
Now you’re three!
The baby just turned four…
One year more!
Happy Birthday baby mine…
Now you’re four!
[chorus]
The baby just turned five…
Baby thrive!
Happy Birthday baby mine…
Now you’re five!
The baby just turned six…
Take some pics!
Happy Birthday baby mine…
Now you’re six!
[chorus]
The baby just turned seven…
Oh dear heaven!
Happy Birthday baby mine…
Now you’re seven!
The baby just turned eight…
Oh how great!
Happy Birthday baby mine…
Now you’re eight!
[chorus]
The baby just turned nine…
Baby mine!
Happy Birthday baby mine…
Now you’re nine!
The baby just turned ten…
See that grin?
Happy Birthday baby mine…
Now you’re ten!
[chorus]
The baby’s not a baby anymore!
