While the lyrics and melody you hear in this album bear little resemblance to the original, "Carnavalito"is a folkloric musical style from the Altiplano region of the Andes and Northern Argentina. "Carnavalito"was traditionally a group dance,with music made from quenas, charangos, boxes, big drums and the guitar. "Carnavalito" is a joyful style of music played in times of celebration and reflects indigenous culture found in the region.
