Learn the Language
Song for Having Fun with Animal Sounds

This delightfully silly song can inspire children to learn a new language -- or to listen carefully to others!

Oh, the monkeys gave a party and invited everyone
‘Cause they wanted all the animals to come and join the fun.
But they had a little problem, and it didn’t go as planned
'Cause they only spoke in Monkey.
No one else could understand!

And the monkeys said, “ooooo aaaaaaa oooooooo aaaaaaaa!!!"
And then they said, “ooooo aaaaaaa oooooooo aaaaaaaa!!!"
Then last they said, “ooooo aaaaaaa oooooooo aaaaaaaa!!!"

And all the other animals said, “WHAT???”

So the ducks, etc....

So the chickens, etc....

Now the moral of the story is as simple as can be
If you’re living in the city or you’re living in a tree.
Everyone should stop... and listen.
Take the time to see and hear.
Every creature can communicate if we just lend an ear.

Maybe everyone should learn a language different from their own
So we all can work together. We can’t make it all alone.
