A spider makes her web so creatively

But they need to make it fit into their environment
They modify the plan through their experience

Genes provide a blueprint but spiders must adjust
To the environment to make a web they can trust
Nature vs. nurture -- its only when the 2 combine
That the behavior of the spider will help the spider survive

Will find a place to lay her eggs secretly
Genetics will determine the way she builds her nest
But environment determines which place will be the best

And so she checks out the beach carefully
She’ll only lay her eggs if its predator free
