Summertime's not much like wintertime,
but the wind still blows, and the sun still shines.
The air smells clean in the countryside,
and the moon still rises on a starlit night.
Lake water feels so cool on a summer days so hot.
But on a cold, cold day, you can walk right on top.
In the summers there's water fights,
in the winter there's big snow balls.
It's a wonder there's any water left at all.
Bird's sing in the summer, they rest in the trees to tall.
They raise their families and fly south in the fall.
Some stay in winter, they flap their feathered arms,
real, real fast just so they can stay warm.
Tree's smile in the summer time, that's the time that they all love,
They sleep in the wintertime, that's when their leaves fall off.
Imagine losing your clothes, just when it starts to freeze.
I think I'm really glad I'm not a tree.
