The Parade March

Children's Song Lyrics and Sound Clip
Caroline Figiel and Danny Jones

  Listen to this song.

This song is available Caroline and Danny's "Toolbox "

Transition Song:
Use the chorus for a transition song just to move children from one location to the other. We all know that the line leader and the caboose are coveted positions but just like an oreo cookie, all parts (of the line) are special.

Activity Song:
For fun, expand this song so that children are encouraged to use their imagination. Brainstorm different ways to move in a line such as: different elements of a parade, different zoo animals, different acts in a circus.

Everybody get in line
Come on, come on
It doesn’t matter where you stand
Come on, come on

In front, middle, or back you see
It’s all the same to you and me
So everybody come on, come on…
