Once upon a time in a nursery rhyme there were three bears
One was a Mama bear, one was a Papa bear and one was a wee bear
They all went a-walking in the wild woods a-talking
When along came a little girl with long golden curly hair
Her name was Goldilocks and up upon the door she knocks
But no-one was there. No-one was there
She walked right in, made herself at home. She didn’t care. No-one was there
We all know what happened next to the bears’ breakfast when Goldilocks
She helped herself; she tried them all.
She even finished one and then had a fall
When the rocking chair, the littlest one
Collapsed underneath her and she fell on her bum
It was time for a nap. It was up the stairs
Where she found three beds for three brown bears
The first big bed was hard as the ground
The second one was too soft she found
But the third little bed was just right
Close your eyes Goldilocks and Good Night
Just then . . . home came those three bears
“Someone’s been eating my porridge!” said the Papa bear to the Mama bear
“Someone’s been eating my porridge!” said the Mama bear to the Papa bear
“Hey bop-a-ree bear!” said the little wee bear, “Mine is all gone. It’s not there!”
“Someone’s been sitting in my chair!” said the Papa bear to the Mama bear
“Someone’s been sitting in my chair!” said the Mama bear to the Papa bear
“Hey bop-a-ree bear!” said the little wee bear
“Someone has broken my chair! Wahhhhh”
“Someone’s been sleeping in my bed!” said the papa bear to the mama bear
“Someone’s been sleeping in my bed!” said the mama bear to the papa bear
“Hey bop-a-ree bear!” said the little wee bear
“A little blond girl is right here!” “Eeeeks!”
Just then Goldilocks woke up and broke up
The party as she beat it out of there
“Bye, bye, bye!” said the Papa bear
“Bye, bye, bye, bye, bye!” said the Mama bear
“Hey bop-a-ree bear!” said the little wee bear
And so goes the story of the . . . Three Bears
