My friend Carl, he is an organelle
He and his friends get together and they form a cell
When that cell joins with others, they all start a trend
By forming tissues not the kind that you blow your nose in

When a whole bunch of tissues have a party all together
They all get into organs like the heart or like the liver
Many organs form a system like the one that moves your blood
From the heart into the veins and finally into your lungs

When all the organ systems decide to combine
They come together to make something really fine
We call that final product an organism
Like a fish or a tiger or a bear or a squirrel or I guess a human

So the levels in order I am telling you
Organelle into cell into a tissue
Tissues into organs into a system
And finally an organism and now we’re done
