Sample IEP Objective:
The student will perform a movement activity requiring sequencing by correctly completing a 4-step
dance sequence given visual cues (color coded dots on the floor) in 3 out of 4 occasions. Adaptations:
Place two red circles on the floor to indicate where the right foot should step, and two blue circles
on the floor to indicate where the left foot should step.
For further prompting, have the student wear a red sock on the right foot and blue sock on the
left foot to match with the dots during the song sequence.
Attention humanoids, get ready to do the robot.
Step forward with your right foot.
Step across with your left foot. (left foot crosses over right foot) Step back with your right foot.
Step back with your left foot.
