Tell the children to listen to the clues in this song about a reptile. Play the song “Turtle Rap” from The Curiosity Shop by Stephanie Burton and Phyllis Campbell. You will notice that the song never mentions which reptile it is. Have some pictures of a turtle and other reptiles and animals and see if the children can use the clues to the song to guess which one is being sung about.
