Michelangelo, a sculpture he was feeling
The church came along, and said please paint our ceiling
It took too much time, they said “Can’t you go faster?”
He screamed “It’s a fresco, I’m painting in wet plaster!”
They thought it was disgusting, some pictures had no clothes
I paint ‘em as I see ‘em, and that’s the way it goes
But now it is a wonder, It’s really quite appealing
Next time you’re over there, see the Sistine Chapel ceiling
I want to be a sculptor! I’ll make the perfect man!
I think I’ll call him David, I could have called him Stan
Michelangelo had a mind that was quite fertile
Until he became a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle!
