There's a big old bear waking from his sleep.
His tummy is growing and he's looking to eat.
He's howling, and growling and making a noise,
And I'll say, hey, old bear what you doing in there?
That big old bear he's been sniffing the breeze,
And he's sniffing so hard he may have to sneeze.
He pokes that nose way up in the air,
And I'll say, hey, old bear what you sniffing up there?
He's picking those berries right off of the trees,
And he's taking that honey away from the bees.
He's eating, and growing, and getting real big,
And I'll say, hey, old bear what you eating in there?
He's a clumsy, large animal with shaggy fur.
And He likes to catch fish, now that's for sure.
He eats those fish right out of the stream,
And I'll say, hey, old bear how's the fishing in there?
That big old bear is hiding in his den,
And he's stretching, and yawning and he's stretching again.
He's grown real big, now he's tired you see,
And I'll say, hey, old bear how's the sleeping in there.
That big old bear likes to stay in his den,
He’s tossing and turning till spring comes again.
He'll sleep, and sleep, until winner ends,
And I'll say, hey, old bear nice to see you again!
Hey old bear nice to see you again!
