Tyrannosaurus Rex, with big muscles he could flex
Went strolling through the swamp one day....
He met Little Brontosaurus just emerging from the forest
And he said "Can you come out to play?"
But Little Brontosaurus, who'd been singing in a chorus
Said (Tiny child's voice) "My mommy says I can't play with you....
Because if I do we'll fight and then you'll take a great big bite
And then I'll end up as a Brontosaurus stew..."
So Little Brontosaurus went back singing with his chorus
And the music wafted to young Rex's ear....
And he wanted so to hear it
But when he tried to get near it...
They all turned and ran, for they were full of fear...
So Tyrannorsaurus Rex caused his throat muscles to flex
And he just stood still and harmonized...
And his voice had such a sweet sound
That they listened and were spellbound
It was beautiful, and they were so surprised...
So Little Brontosaurus, whose first name was really Boris
Thought he'd try to make the world a better place...
He extracted quite a promise
From the Rex whose name was Thomas
That the Rexes never ever would give chase....
The Tyrannosaurus Rexes said "Our muscles aren't reflexes
And we promise that we won't use them on you....
We just so enjoy singing
That we'll send our vices (Evil tendencies) winging
And we can't abide a Brontosaurus stew...."
So the Rexes and the Saureses
Spend time in singing choruses
Of all their favorite songs and tunes.....and enjoy it...!!!
You should be singing too!!! Why don't YOU?
