Benefits: Teaches sequencing/patterning of events, ability to follow directions. Helps children with the concepts of “under,” “stop,” “get it.” Other uses: Helps children follow simple directives, and/or acquire developmental coordination. Younger children will utilize a good deal of concentration and impulse control. Feel free to use the pause button on your CD player in between verses if some children need more time to process and follow the directions.
