This album contains action songs that use movement, body percussion and rhythm instruments for teaching auditory/listening skills. It is comprised of two halves. The first half consists two types of songs:
1. Songs that require the listener to perceive and respond to changes in dynamics (volume)
and tempo (speed).
2. Songs that require understanding of directions and following through on different ways to interact
with or use instruments.
The second part contains two sets of very specially designed listening exercises that really focus on auditory discrimination and processing of (non-verbal) auditory information. They are intended to foster the ability to give meaning to what is heard and are an essential language skill/cognitive skill.
The songs are very beneficial to young children, kids with special needs, and kids who need to MOVE while learning and all squirmy children.
