Karen Sokolof Javitch

Karen, a former elementary school teacher, loves to write songs for children.  Her songs are very melodic and stay in your head, which is why they are great songs for kids to learn from”, says her arranger, Chuck Penington.” ‘You’re MATH -errific!’ helps kids learn about math concepts and she has two ‘Karen’s Kaleidoscope for Kids’ CD’s.

A prolific songwriter, Karen has written and produced 15 CD’s – they range from her musicals, to children’s albums, to wedding songs, a celebrity tribute album and many others.  She likes to raise money for various charities with her music.  

She and her husband, Gary have 3 wonderful adult children who all got married last year!  And she is still standing!
