Flipper the seal was a lonely seal,
he wanted a new playmate
So he went off into the frozen snow,
and he searched 'till it was late

(Chorus:)
Somebody, anybody, be my friend;
somebody, anybody, be my friend
Somebody, anybody, be my friend;
somebody, anybody, be my friend

Flipper the seal went flipping along,
and he made himself a fire
He cooked a really delicious fish,
and he got very tired

(Chorus)

The very next morning, Flipper got up,
and then he saw a carrot
So he looked all around himself,
and then he saw the white rabbit

(Chorus 2:)
Could you, would you, be my friend?
Could you, would you, be my friend?
Could you, would you, be my friend?
Could you, would you, be my friend?

So Flipper and the rabbit became friends,
and they went out to play
And they went back into the frozen snow,
and they flipped and hopped away

(Chorus 3:)
I've got a friend now, yes I do
I've got a friend now, so do you
I've got a friend now, yes I do
I've got a friend now, so do you.
