Properties... Solid, Liquid, and Gas
Properties...
Break 'em down to the smallest elements you can.
Now it's time to learn some chemistry;
solid, liquid, gas and their properties.
First we need to know about the formulas though,
like water's formula reads H2O.
You read the formulas from your left to your right
with the letters representing the atomic type.
Each water molecule has two hydrogen atoms,
can't see with your eyes, hard to fathom.
To the H atoms one oxygen bonds.
It's called a water molecule, now let's move on.
Properties... Solid, Liquid, and Gas
Properties...
Break 'em down to the smallest elements you can.
There are a few more properties here to learn.
I'll name the substance, then it's your turn to say
if it's a liquid, solid, or gas
and picture in your mind what atoms they have.
Here we go!
Oxygen -
Iron -
Helium -
Water -
Nitrogen -
Sugar -
CO2 -
Properties... Solid, Liquid, and Gas

Break 'em down to the smallest elements you can.
Chemical formulas; still having a doubt?
Use a periodic table and check it out.
Break down the formulas you need to know
into their elements and give the table a go!

Solid, Liquid, and Gas

Break 'em down to the smallest elements you can.
