It's Pattern Time
Jennifer Fixman

 Listen to this song.

This song is available on Jennifer Fixman's We Love Math with Miss Jenny.

Teaching Tips:
Children learn patterns in several ways as they read this song, listen to the music, move their bodies, and sing. They hear and see letter-patterns. They hear musical instruments creating patterns. They see shape-patterns in the coloring book. They move their bodies to create patterns. Finally, they state several important pattern types.
Children love creating patterns with their bodies. On “a,” you may clap your hands. For “b,” you may wave your hands in the air. Change the pattern every time you sing. Allow children to lead the class in a pattern. Occasionally, focus on the words in the coloring book to help reinforce visual patterns.

This song is available on Jennifer Fixman's We Love Math with Miss Jenny.
