Divisibility
Can it be, divided evenly?
You can tell if a number
Is divisible by two
If it’s even, here’s what you can do
You can always,
chop the sucker in half.
You can tell if a number
Is divisible by three
By getting the sum
Of the digits individually
And if the sum of the digits
Is a multiple of three
Then so is your original number indeed.
Now five’s too easy, this you know
If it ends in a five or a zero
Now six,
Has two requirements
It’s got to be divisible
By two and three
Like a leaf needs a branch
And a branch needs a tree
Nine, you will see
Follows the same concept
As the number three
And if the sum of the digits
Is a multiple of nine
Then so is your original number
And it works every time
And Ten, oh ten
Please don’t make me laugh at you
You're just so easy ten
A number is divisible by ten
If it ends in zero.
