This song is available on Triangle Head by The Trigs.

This song uses creative ways to determine volume. The first part is about filling a pool with Jello and the second is about finding the amount of oatmeal in one of those cylindrical oatmeal canisters. It covers finding the area of the base and then multiplying by the height.
I've got a pool, yo
I want to fill it with jello
But how much will it take to fill it up?
How 'bout if I let you know
that the width is ten feet or so.
The height is six and the length is twenty
To find the volume of my pool / this is what I've got to do:
Find the area of the base then times the height
I'll multiply ten times twenty and then do that by six I'll need
1200 cubic feet of lime jello
Chorus:
I need to find the volume of a cone or of a cube.
How much water can I fit inside
a cylinder or in a sphere?
What will fit inside of here?
If I know the equation then I'll get it right.
In the morning I eat oatmeal /
I like the way that it makes me feel
But I want to know how much there is inside
So I'll measure the radius /
and find out the height because
I need them both to do the thing up right
First I will use pi r squared /
to find the base's area
Then multiply by the height and now I'm done
So when I eat my oatmeal /
Now I know the real deal
And how much oatmeal there is to eat
