When something makes me nervous, fearful or shy
And I just want to turn away and not even try
I talk to myself right from the start,
I say, “Have courage!” I say, “Take heart!”
I remind myself I’ve been courageous before,
There’s a great strength inside me, it’s my very own core,
And then here is what I do…
