Activities:
Nine kids line up together and sing what the newts say. "no, no, no! we're not gonna nap! no, no, no". Have one kid be"nanny" and sing her part, "123" with that stern nanny voice and shake her finger at the newts". The newts lay their heads in their hands like they're asleep. The newts sings "now now now, we want noodles to nibble, now now now!" nanny sings "123" then the newts sing "please, please, please." The rest of the kids can clap and sing the na na's.
