I don’t want to sing a song about a snake.
Just thinking of one makes my belly ache.
Don’t like ‘em on the ground; don’t like ‘em in a lake.
I don’t want to sing a silly song about a snake

Snakes have a part in nature to play.
They help keep rodents and insects away
They have no limbs to move they sway.
So I think its wise to let the snakes stay.

Here’s some things about snakes I found.
Snakes move swiftly on the ground
They move so softly, there’s hardly a sound.
It’s probably wise to keep snakes around.

Okay I’ll sing a song about a snake.
Understanding makes it easier to take
They can crawl on the ground; they can swim in a lake
As long as I don’t have to sing with a snake!
