Rappin' Clappin' Singin' About Art Volume 2.

(Verse 1)
There once was a self taught artist, whose name was Henri
Rousseau. He liked to paint the jungle, exotic plants and animals. He went
to botanical gardens to study the structure of leaves, and at the zoo he
studied animal anatomy.
Chorus
Henri Rousseau, Henri Rousseau. Painted A Carnival
Evening, Jungle Sunset, Sleeping Gypsy and Tropical Forest
with Monkeys.
(Verse 2)
In Surprised! Storm in the Forest, the sky is very dark,
in contrast to the foliage which is green and very bright. The tiger looks
frightened as the wind blows through the trees. And in the sky he
painted; bright, jagged, lightning streaks.
Chorus
(Verse 3)
He had a one man show in nineteen-hundred and eight. Until
that time his art wasn't seen as very great. Illogical proportions and
figures posed real stiff. His work is very detailed and real imaginative.
Chorus
(Ending) Henri Rousseau, Henri Rousseau. (Repeat)
