(Verse 1)
Leonardo da Vinci was born in Italy. The name of his
town; he used for his last name. His dad took him to Florence to study
with Verrocchio. In The Baptism of Christ, painted a life-like
angel, for Verrocchio. At twenty years old. (At twenty years old).
(Verse 2)
Leonardo da Vinci studied science and nature. Then he
used that knowledge to make his paintings seem real. Didn't use harsh
outlines around his figures. His Madonna wears a smile while holding
her child.
(Chorus)
His greatest work was painted on a wall in a dining room
of a church in Milan. This awesome work is called The Last Supper;
it's Jesus at a table with his friends. (His friends are the twelve
disciples).
The Last Supper has a feeling of movement, by the way he placed
the men around the table.
(Verse 3)
He painted Mona Lisa, with mysterious eyes and smile.
He was an inventor and a sculptor, mathematician, scientist, musician.
Born in 1452, died 1519 (1519). Died 1519 (1519).
Leonardo, Leonardo, da Vinci, da Vinci, Mona Lisa, Mona Lisa,
Last Supper, Last Supper, (keep repeating through fade)
