I'm the moon...I'm the satellite of the earth...
I go around the earth once a month...
It takes four weeks, I hope you know...
For the moon to go around the earth oneth.

I'm the earth, I'm the satellite of the sun
I revolve around the sun once a year...
I rotate once every twenty-four hours...
Giving day and night to all here...

Now revolving around the sun, is called...
I revolution, I hear...
It takes three hundred and sixty five days...
Which I believe's a full year...

Now the moon in a huge old ball, it seems...
The biggest light in the sky...
But it's a trick,  I hope you know...
It's just a reflection, that's why...

So when you look in the sky and see....
My face,  just half or a sliver...
Just know the phases of the moon
Sometimes cause people to shiver...

But I am really a nice old moon...
I'll shine on you all your life...
Just don't blame me  when you  grow up..
I don't really cause all that strife...!!!
