Teacher Barbara Silberg has written music to accompany the words penned by Emma Lazarus and inscribed on the base of the Statue of Liberty. These patriotic songs (one instrumental and one vocal) which were beautifully arranged by Denny Bouchard and recorded by the West Los Angeles Children's choir, includes a reading of the poem, The New Colossus, from which the inscription is taken. ("Give me your tired, your poor...")
